Become a Part of The Arise Society Family

A young adult’s commitment to continued education, and willingness to engage in our community, is critical to success at The Arise Society

After submitting an online application or email inquiry, a representative from our Admissions team will reach out to schedule a call to discuss if Arise is a good fit for the student’s needs. Following the call, psychological testing and professional recommendations may be requested and reviewed by our Clinical Director.

At this point, prospective students and their families may schedule a visit to tour our apartments, meet students and staff, and explore Utah Valley University. Students who are unable to visit in-person may participate in a phone interview or Skype call. An enrollment packet will be sent out to be reviewed and signed after an admission date has been determined.

Following admission to The Arise Society, our Academic Director will reach out to help students and families navigate the UVU enrollment and registration process. UVU offers rolling admissions and operates on both a semester and block schedule.

Incoming students will move into a two-bedroom apartment, shared with one other student. Each unit has a common area, kitchen, bathroom, and two private bedrooms. All of our apartments and bedrooms are fully furnished, which makes the move-in process simple. Basic packing lists are provided and most students also spend a couple of days shopping for items to decorate and personalize their space. Family members are welcome to help their young adult move into their apartment, though mentors provide plenty of support for students arriving on their own.

We look forward to hearing from you!
