Who We Help

Colleges Benefit From Our Collaborative Approach

Significant psychological issues and mental health help is an ever-growing concern among parents, colleges, and professors. Many college students are struggling. They have anxiety, depression, and even gaming issues – and are dropping out at alarming rates.

We are dedicated to helping students overcome their mental health challenges. Our one-of-a-kind program provides individualized therapeutic, academic, and social help so they can get back on track.

Did you know?

  •       75% of lifetime cases of psychological health conditions begin by the age of 20.
  •       More than 80% of college students have felt hopelessness.
  •       1 in 4 students between 18 and 23 have a diagnosable mental disorder.
  •       About 25% were diagnosed/treated by health professionals within 2017-2018.
  •       33% of these students drop out entirely.

Keep Enrollment Up at Your College

One-third of college students will drop out entirely, and more than 50% will take more than 6 years to finish their degree. These numbers are staggering, especially considering 28% of students drop out before entering their sophomore year.

Anxiety was rated as the number one mental health issue followed by depression, insomnia, and panic attacks, among others.

Most colleges today are finding themselves short of resources to address these pressing issues. Currently, the rapidly increasing number of college students seeking mental health treatment on campuses is growing faster than the supply of counseling services, yet very few colleges have enough funding for these services.

We provide support academically, therapeutically, and socially with such services as:

  • Highly personalized academic plans
  • Weekly academic meetings
  • Individual and group therapy
  • Therapeutic parent support
  • Mentors on call 24/7
  • Daily logistic support

Students Can Still Graduate From Your College

After a year with us, let them return to your campus. This way, they’re prepared to handle the course load, stress, and campus life after they’ve received the individualized support from us. They can finish their degree and graduate with a diploma from your university. No one needs to know about the “hiccup” they had along the way because their diploma will be from the original school they started with.

What Makes The Arise Society Unique?

  • Colleges trust us to help their students find success in our “real world” transitional program
  • Students are not stigmatized as being a “program person”
  • Students can leave a college where they were not successful and return to the same school to graduate
  • We offer abundant social support, social engagement, and benchmarks
  • Individualized help as well as group and family therapy is conducted by trained professionals
  • Students have complete freedom while they are in our program
  • Mentors are available 24/7 and assigned to each student for support
  • Our students live with roommates in apartments
  • Frequent parent support calls and contact with Founder and Primary Therapist of Arise
